Hello again!!!!!

Hi again everyone!!

How is everyone going? I am going great! So much has happened since I last wrote. I will start with Tamworth: Mum went to the One World Academy in India, Dad had to work, Iluka and I had to go somewhere. We had a fantastic time with all our family in Tamworth. I went horse-riding 4 times on a Thoroughbred mare, Rose , jumped for the first time (just over a 20cm high cavaletti pole but it still counts!!), started learning to sit the trot and learnt how to tack up my own horse.

I played with my younger cousin Zali, I visited Nonna and Poppy’s new vineyard – function centre, Tangaratta  and hung out with our family. Starlight and Vanilla had so much fun hanging out with Nonna’s ewes and their cute little lambs.

We came back from Tamworth to the Island and started noticing the same kind of natural changes as in last December and got ready for another visit to the mainland, this time all as a family to visit Oma and Opa for Christmas. We passed by Nonna’s place on the way and I rode Rose again.

On our drive from Tamworth to Callala Bay it was very misty and we drove in the clouds alot. When we got to Callala Bay hugged our family and unpacked then fell into bed.

Over the past week and a half we have had so much fun with our family, catching up, swimming, horse-riding (on real and hobby-horses), eating, sleeping over and much more. I had a fantastic Christmas and I think everyone else did too.

But now I have to tell you about what happened yesterday. Our family went with my Aunty Emma and cousin Corinne to Corinne’s Uncle Calebs goat farm. It was soooooooooooo fun!! We got to hold newborn baby goats, they are sooooooooo cute!! We helped milk the goats by putting the suckers on their teats and took them off when each goat was finished. Their were lots of incidents where people got the suckers on themselves and it was very fun work.

After milking the goats we went to see the miniature ponies and that was sooooooooo fun!! There are three Buttercake, (the tallest but still only up to my ribs) Icing and her baby Skillet. None of them were propely trained so they were hard to catch, but when Caleb did catch them he said we could ride on them. I rode on Buttercake because I couldn’t fit on the others. I had no saddle, no bridle just a lead rope and headcollar, oh and her mane. Dad lead me at a walk first the I tried to control Buttercake myself. I was bucked off twice but got straight back on. I had a go at cantering on Buttercake while being led by Caleb and her canter was really smooth and fun. Then I double-dinked with Caleb’s son Benjamin up to the gate where we hoped off.
